Coolest Dream EVER Okay, so last night I was having this dream that I was riding my bike to my uncle’s house. The ground started breaking up and it was really weird. I thought I was going to fall and get really hurt, but all of a sudden I realized I could hop over stuff and grind on railings. All sorts of awesome bike tricks. It felt like flying or being in a video game. Then, I get to this desolate shopping center with a giant parking lot. There were some buildings but they were all run down. I started DRAWING with my FINGER, lines that formed more buildings and shops and stuff all around the square parking lot. Then I drew ramps and rails and stuff for a skate park in the middle of it. When I was finished drawing (with my FINGER on THIN AIR), it all came to life and people were showing up on bikes and skateboards, thanking me for saving the community and building a skate park. It was so cool.

The other night I had a dream that I was palling around with a young Mark Hoppus and Tom Delonge, but it was present day and I was taking pictures of our adventures with my iPhone. Only when I’d stop to look at them, only I would appear in the images. Like they were ghosts. It was devastating because I thought I had full documentation of my number one adolescent wish come true (though I did meet Mark Hoppus once in 2006 and it was the greatest day of my young life). It’s strange though because I have these dreams a lot. Where I’m meeting someone or viewing something gorgeous, so I attempt to photograph it and fail during every attempt because either my camera goes black, or the pictures get erased, or I can’t take the photo on time. It’s so strange. Sometimes I dream that I do get these incredible shots and when I wake up I’m devastated that it was only a dream and I don’t have these images captured for albums or for my portfolio. Weird photo nerd dreams.
